After week in Perth we headed to New Zealand with Luke, Ally, Maddie and Izzie. We started by flying to Queenstown via Sydney. The area around Queenstown is beautiful and not unlike where I grew up in Utah…mountains and lakes. Our hotel was The Rees-True South. We had a townhouse over looking the lake. We ate a great hamburger at Ferg Burger on our first day and walked around. It was incredible to be in a place where we could see all the stars at night. After living in a cities with so much artificial light I love seeing the night sky again.

Our first day was packed with fun things to do. We rode the gondola up and then rode the luge.

After a few days in Queenstown we were back on a plane to Auckland.
